Leaving a Legacy
Scott Potter was a filmmaker who wanted to change the world with stories. His unexpected passing left his wife Sarah broken and longing to preserve his purpose. With a filmmaker community that came in for support, Sarah decided to complete this film Scott began making in 2018.
Phase 1: Completed
We raised $101,469 from 672 amazing supporters last year that allowed us to hire an award-winning crew, complete pre-production, and half of production
Phase 2: In Progress
The story doesn’t wait until you’re ready. We are right in the middle of these familys’ stories unfolding. We’ve stretched every dollar we’ve raised to bring us up until this moment. To make sure we don’t miss out on these critical moments, we are fast-tracking our next funding goal to raise $50,000 by the end of May.
Phase 3: Coming Soon
Once production is complete, we move into post-production. We'll raise funds to craft the story, edit the footage, and add finishing touches like color grading, audio mixing, and music licensing. We're planning exciting distribution channels, including theater screenings, streaming, conferences, and a university tour.
